Can you show what nutrients product you use? I haven’t tried hydroponics yet. Just growing back scallions in water is easy, but I know I need nutrients.

What about mosquitoes?

I did the hydro buckets and other containers this past spring-fall outside, plus indoors this winter. I had several people ask me about mosquitoes, gnats, etc, because of the stagnant water. I honestly didn’t notice any kind of issue with them. I would find some bugs here and there, dead inside the buckets, but they were mainly earwigs.
Love this!
Mike I admire all your clever ideas. Thanks for showing us how easily food can be grown in a small area… just expand our thinking.
I would love to try this but all the cup lids I can find are too small for solo cups. The cups are 92mm and the lids are 89mm. What did you use?
