    Bravo! Nice setup.

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Thank you! I’m glad you liked the setup. It really makes a difference in growing spinach in tough conditions!

    • @JGsbackyardlettuceKagulay1 says:

@@HomegrownPassioni will try the shade cloth next summer season here in the Philippines

  • @loulauer5853 says:

Nice. I was quite surprised that you took the germinated seed and placed it into the oasis cube in the opposite direction that I would have thought. I would have put the seed hull portion down in the hole. Learn something every time I watch your videos. Also, does someone have a purse problem? 🤣😁🥰

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

I really appreciate your feedback! It’s always great to hear that viewers are learning something new. That’s what I aim for with each video! And the purse comment made me chuckle! So one of Doug’s Hobbies is leathercrafting. He makes all types of purses, bags, totes, camera cases, holsters, shaving kits etc. He usually stacks everything up on the counter in the head house kitchen that he makes and has a sale in the fall just in time for Christmas. I thought I would start using the kitchen area for a studio. I think I need to arrange and maybe have all the bags as a back drop. But good observation!

HI Katy – I am in Brisbane, Australia – sub tropical climate so spinach is an issue in summer. What variety are you planting here ? I couldn’t quite make out what you said. I am a home grower and have been starting both spinach and chard after seeing your H2O2 method maybe a year or more ago, with good success – and a big saving on Oasis cubes although I have moved both onto coco cubes now and that works well for me in NFT (filtered for coco) Enjoy your weekly videos very much. Best regards, Altos.

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Hi Altos! Thanks for watching! Hey! Good question! The cultivar is “Lizard” spinach. I bought it from Johnny Seeds. It’s a solid choice for this heat! Glad to hear the H2O2 method has been working well for you! Happy growing!

Hi Katie! Your video is denied play by google / u tube by some kind of “This video is unavailable” message… time to move your operation to a well managed and functional platform and not the defective google / u tube failing and struggling system… -Bob…

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

I don’t understand what you are saying. Can you explain

    • @wranther says:

@@HomegrownPassion Yes, where a video is usually viewed on u tube, the video has been replaced by a blackish viewing window with the google / u tube message “This video is unavailable” perhaps as a way that google / u tube covers its screw ups for not posting and playing the video?
