🙋🏼‍♀️🕊. I am surprised that you haven’t tried to tap any of those rocks and see if there’s geodes in it. They are so beautiful.

  • @KarenBouton says:

One of the reasons I stopped tower gardening, was concern about it dying if the electricity went out. What a great idea, a solar generator!

  • @waldorules7725 says:

Hello from California! Love your channel and praying for you guys! I need a tower!!!❤

I enjoy your YouTube a lot. I purchase the seeds for Komatsuna at Kitagawa seed company. They grew well.

Stephanie, I have a concerning question that you may not be allowed to answer on this platform. I am concerned about any produce that is being sold or even grown in the next couple of years or so that is anywhere near these areas that flooded….I mean all the way down through any states that may have rivers fed by the toxic flow of water that I feel is still probably coming through the water system after Helene. I have been in 2 local grocery places that have the same produce from the same location, and that produce has sludge mud on it in parts and it is wilting and looks sick. I won’t say what it is or which area it is comingvfrom, but based on the map it is almost in a direct path so far below NC. I am concerned for people eating any produce that has any mud residue from the flooding or that is being sprayed with water from water that may be from those streams/river sources. I would love to contact that producer and question them about the produce, water, etc., BUT boy that would open a can of worms I am sure. I know you mentioned the water still has a boil issue. Would you feel safe enough using water from the flooded river to water your plants? Would you feel safe eating any produce that grew near the flood areas or that could be underground fed water from those rivers? This is very concerning to us. Thanks for any input you may have! Love watching your channel, and I applaud you for all the volunteering you are doing to help so many in need.❤

I get that!! We are above the water. We are on the ridge with a deep water well so no danger up here. I would be very concerned with food grown by the river or areas flooded.

Oh boy! I am working on making our own right now. But yes, we are in drought. I struggle to keep alive native pollinators let alone an actual garden in Texas. I can say I went from having fantastic food all year here to basically abandoning spring stuff by early May to save water. It’s been profound. Thank you for your information and y’all doing what you have been doing out there as well. Much love from Texas 🤙
I hope to have a productive update soon but I am literally just learning this and awaiting a neck surgery I have been putting off so just taking it easy and doing what I can. 😊
Alot of people don’t know that as well about calcium uptake. Great video thanks again!

Beautiful plants! Thank you for the tour and for sharing your knowledge. I’m saving up to start my own. I mostly get seeds from MIGardener & Trueleaf market – what do you recommend? Links to the some of your plants you pointed out would be helpful when you have time.

  • @cjcj6656 says:

What about your garden hose? All of them are very toxic unless you get one for RV’s that are drinking water safe so you don’t want all the chemicals going through the toxic hose into your plants. When the hose sits in the sun the chemicals and the rubber in the hose get worse.

  • @helenthompson5726 says:

    Your towers are fascinating ❤

  • @KellyStrawser says:

You just completely blew me away!!! Seriously?!? Spinach isn’t great in nutrients?!? Kale has PFAS?!? What?!? That is enough to say where does it end?!?
On a different note God Bless you for all you do!!!❤

I am so inspired by you and your food. I’m disabled and this system looks achievable!

  • @MicheleDiMarcantonio says:

I love your channel! I learn so much and your plants are so pretty. The first step (for me) is anything I eat starts pretty. Will you show the other system you use? You have mentioned it before but I have not found a video with it. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos and enjoy the solar power system (and then tell us about it).
