hi Kevin would be nice to have a shopping list added description, video is well done thou
I totally agree as I am watching from Kenya. It would be great to walk into our local builder’s with a Builders shopping list !!
they dont have the cups at builders, couldnt find the gutter clips as well, the pvc they used is not food grade, but I’m building it anyway, will be using the pool noodle instead of cups
I will definitely buy.
Please add shopping list.
Man!! Providing a shopping list would’ve made it a lot easier
Fantastic video thank you
Good info. You did not mention the containers that you plant in that are placed in the holes. What are their size, and are they available at Builders.
net cups come in different sizes, you buy the size you want and drill the hole size to accommodate. Standard is 2 to 3 inches.
Does this hydroponic system or the crops get affected if loadshedding hits and the pump doesn’t circulate water!!?
I am very keen on making one of these hydroponic gardens. Please can someone email me the breakdown of the cost of materials. My husband may have some of the materials in his garage so a breakdown would be appreciated. Thank you.
Thanks a span Kevin. Material, measurements and tools , to be used well explained.
if you wanted more oxygen saturation in your water allow the return line to break the water surface in the main tank. Also if the public doesn’t know, you’re using a #4 possidrive bit on your cordless drill for the wood screws
Hi! How significant a damage on the crops if the pump stops working during the loadshedding hours???
Advisable to get food safe, non toxic UPVC tubing (not PVC) which is unplasticised PVC. Also use aquarium grade silicon glue to seal pipes as is non toxic.
where would I find such pipes?
Good video but you forgot to paint the bottom of the trestle. That’s the part that will rot quickest
beautiful, except the vinyl tube should be black, not clear.
Que tal buenos dias …podrás compartir las dimensiones del producto
a shopping list would have been awesome!
Fantastic! Very clever xxx
By a country Mile – this is the best video of its kind out there. Thank you so much and agree with others, a list of items needed would be fantastic
Thank you very much
I’m concerned about root rot. Even when the pump is off the tubes are still going to be pretty full, roots soaked 24/7. Does it ever drain?
Best video ever 2024
great tut big up
What in the length and breadth of stand
Did you just add the plants with dirt straight into the holes or are those in sponges?
