Republican billionaires and millionaires met last week to cut $2.5 TRILLION from spending. Will come from Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. I don’t think they even know, or worse, care about Hurricane Helene!! They just wanted your votes.

  • @joannsomers2406 says:

Dear God. We have seen the worst and the best of man. We keep all of you in our prayers. JoAnn in Mississippi

  • @BlueberryGirl723 says:

So thankful to hear Marshall County is working with you, but be sure to get everything in writing from them, like when they wave a code. If something happens you do not want to be the one stuck being responsible when they waved codes. I honestly believe codes mostly need to be temporarily waived considering the great need, but it all needs to be placed in writing by the County officials.

Also, when you can sit down to eat pull up some videos on YouTube that are about building tiny homes, and also turning sheds into homes. They can give you a lot of great ideas and insight into various layouts, and how to utilize as much space as possible. Also, options can be old school busses and shipping containers. You can take 2 small shipping containers and link them together with a central open floor plan living space. You can also stack containers for a second floor, or build loft spaces over the containers that can be accessed through the central living space. You can stack containers so that part of the upper container overlaps to create a small overhang porch, then the upper area at the opposite end can be railed in as a deck say off the master bedroom. So much versatility in building like this than you can imagine when you are first getting into it. I’ve researched it for years, and watched countless hours of such videos, because it interests me. Maybe you can find some Amish builders as well who can help you all with building some tiny homes. They are exceptional builders.

So sad to see such widespread devastation. It’s difficult to see a thriving and bustling area rich in history and heritage just wiped out like this. You are all in our prayers, and we do love you all!

yep if it’s not documented it didn’t happen and anything can happen anytime …the need could arise for documentation

  • @mimimcdee7052 says:

Oh my Lord in Heaven… thousands lost, and the magnitude of the water levels and devastation is obviously un-natural Those who know, know and wait to see what God has planned for the perps.
Stephanie, you and all of the others helping those who need it – unlike our gov’t – are the brightest spotlight to carry them – and those of us watching – while we cry in heartbreak and anger. The evil plots and destroys, but the decency of souls comes shining through the darkness.
Thank you all for showing what good there is left in this world despite the targeted attack.

  • @vickiemadrid3910 says:

I love the old buildings, and architecture in your community. It is sad to see the damage and loss. You are right you can feel the loss watching the video. You have the makings of a unique documentary. Thank you for sharing. I am glad Madison County is working with you to keep people warm and safe. Maybe the fire department can donate carbon monoxide and smoke detector for the little homes. You are amazing! I can see how that drive is motivating.

  • @lisabrown1620 says:

Yes you can feel the loss! I have been watching you and John Ward on the Appalachian Channel daily. I am so drawn to this, what happened and why. I feel such loss every time I see cars or people’s things just laying around, wondering who or how many were in that vehicle or house or store. Thank you for sharing your story of what is happening but mostly for all the work you are doing to help so many of your neighbors, you will certainly have many jewels in your crown one day!

  • @jaykay46 says:

Thank the good lord!!!Madison County,North Carolina wavering the permits so people can get in a home for the needs. Hopefully other affective counties will follow suite!🙏🙏🙏p.s. I agree there are 1000’s missing instead of 200.00!

  • @bel250 says:

All the devastation is too painful to watch. Thank you and to all the people who volunteer and all the donors. Watching you from Ohio…

  • @debrathompson2008 says:
