GDay from Aus, GDay Mike, are the clay balls sitting in water when planting,if so how deep. Do you need to top the water up during germination and how old would the seedlings be when moving them to Kratky as shown in the video

It’s open air, you will have to watch and experiment where you are. Evaporation and absorption would be different, even for different containers.
Mike as I don’t think clay balls wick water very well do you start the seeds with the balls sitting in water. How long do the seeds take to get root long enough to transplant to Kratky

when using the clay pellets for micro greens, do you add nutrients?
I am growing some to transfer so yes, you can do just water.

I have those lights- they work well on the greens. 🥬 reuse those pasta sauce jars! Any glass jar you get at the store.
