    Awesome looking pond…

Curtis, Water Stewardship / MOF / MOFLNRO could be all over you for this, just a heads up, if you get the wrong bureaucrat looking at you…

    .. I’m sure you’re aware, though…?

Cheers man, (to quote Red/Green Show) I’m pulling for ya, man, we’re all in this together…

Also, ground is 100% saturated… which is why your pond is full / isn’t draining.

What is down stream from you?

Hey Curtis! Definitely exiting to mess with hydrology in a good way! I’m on the same page as you there! I have a thought about your leaky pond, if you have leaks at an elevation that is in the frost line, they would not leak in the winter where water has frozen and ‘temporarily’ sealed the leak. That being said we will know for sure after spring thaw if the pond holds or not when the frost is out.

I also noticed the trees in the bank of your pond, would those roots be in a place that would allow water to seep through the ground? I have a very slow leak in my upper pond due to trees I didn’t dig out when I should have. But it’s ok because these slow leaks do an amazing job of filtering the water into the lower pond.

    The Ponicles continue.

  • @cameronalexander359 says:

I shouldn’t it still be filling up? The bottom may be sealed, but could it be leaking out the sides?

  • @campcreekhill8933 says:

You will be teaching your kids to canoe this summer
