Easy Hydroponic NFT System.

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “Keep on Growin’ with Mike VanDuzee”.

A quick overview of the system. I will be uploading a full tutorial soon with all the details. This is kind of an NFT system but changed to use milk jugs from the recycling bin and no pvc fittings.

I like your system. Just one question: aren’t you concerned about the plastic jugs leaching PFA’s into your water/plants roots?

    • Orange Swell says:

My hunch is that the PFAS breakdown is going to be so slow in food grade plastics that it’s not going to be an issue for the life of one plant. If I understand correctly, it’s the PFAS in the water you’re using, where you’re going to get health changing contamination. This is why PFAS is a water irrigation issue on farms. PFAS is used in pesticides and runs into the water system.
