Excellent! I started saving my milk jugs. They are piled up to the ceiling in my garage. I am not sure what I am going to do with them, but I am shopping differently now. Thanks for the video!!

I use milk jugs to water plants when I’m gone, or just to keep from having to water so often. You can poke a few holes in the bottom and let it drip out. Or you can dig a little hole by the plant, turn the filled jug upside down into the hold, and it will leak out slowly to irrigate the plant. My favorite though is old wine bottles. Fill with water, turn upside down and stick into a flower pot. I had a lot of cobalt blue ones (guess which wine);i think they look cool, but wonder what the neighbors think. They don’t know how long it took me to collect all those wine bottles, LOL.

    Way to grow.

Totally. My husband always like prepackaged food from Costco and I save the containers for the used. Growing greens, starting seeds, spice bottles holder, storage containers in cabinets, painting little tray, on and on and on.😂😂❤

Great way to think about all the stuff that inundates our lives. I’ve got several collections of stuff looking for a purpose. Good putting your solution out there 👍

  • Jeanene Miller says:

Before I throw out a container, I look at it and wonder if it can be reused. I have saved a lot of similar containers, not from ramen, but those heavy plastic meat trays or take-out containers with a clear cover. If you put a folded paper towel in the bottom, with a little water, you can sprout seeds fairly quickly. The kids make fun of me for saving stuff like that, but when they needed something for a project, they come to me.

    ✌️🫶🙏 Excellent video!

My dad is a retired art teacher and he would have us saving/collecting random things, from bottle tops to those whirly helicopter seeds that fall from trees, for his classes art projects.
Taught me that you can do some cool things if you’re patient and willing to put in a little effort

Half full vs Half empty. People will always see what they want to see.

  • Jeannie Scarber says:

You can also get friends, neighbors and family members, to save them for you. We have lots of friends who have chickens. I save egg cartons for them.

    Hey Mike!!!
    Great videos!!!
I just started this journey on Wednesday. I was looking at the Gardyn hydroponics system which is close to $1,000, and was considering buying it. Then I found your channel and have been devouring your content. I immediately starting asking my family for any containers they usually recycle to bring to me, so hopefully I can bring in this many Ramen noodles and jugs fairly quickly.
Thanks for your great video, and on my with my first Kratky experiment!!!
    Thanks for all your content!!!
