Happy Hydroponicing!
All I ever use is Bambulab
I’m an Ultimaker user myself. Bambu makes some damn nice stuff.
I keep wanting to remind Hoocho and channel regulars that there was a group in the US called 3dponics that designs 3d prints for hydroponics and aquaponics. I would love to see Hoocho reach out to them and the growing with fishes podcast. I would love to see what the crossover would bring.
I moderate PotentPonics, growing with fishes. Steve will have him on, for sure… fans of both. His 24 hour aquaponics livestreams is the biggest aquaponic show that goes globally in one weekend
All I ever use is K1 Max
Stumbled across this vid. Not sure what I would do with it.
Same, video popped up, I want one but no idea what I’d use it for…
You would be surprised the youtubers that print things in the states you legally cannot have made there on your big island, heh. They have replaced big factories that make small plastic parts… for sure. Also there is spools of hemp for 3d printers(made a video on it over 4 years ago)
Good stuff mate👍
Thank you so much! 😊
lol they have always been a tool. Now they are an appliance.
BTT Panda Touch is a nice upgrade to the P1S
Thanks for reminding me! Just bought one. I’ve seen it before, but now I’ve experienced the X1C I’d love to see if it’s a game changer.
Man, i just got the a1 mini and have really been enjoying it. Great timing on this video and totally agree that its just a tool now rather than a gimmick or tinker hobby (in the sense of just fiddling with the printer rather than just printing)
Your other videos inspired me to finally pull the trigger on 3d printing and decided to pick up a P1S + AMS combo about a month ago. Its been an amazing experience because all I wanted was a tool for designing and printing functional prints. Your entire video perfectly sums up my experience with the printer and as a beginner to 3d printing I would say you cant go wrong with either of these bad boys.
Well timed video. I’ve been running a Ender 3v2 for many years, but I’ve been finding I’m tinkering to keep it running more than printing. I’ve been debating between the P1S and the K1. I don’t suppose you also want to reach out to Creality?😉
@Hoocho – Did you ever get the Sonic Pad upgrade for the Enders, using the Clipper software?
I’m leaning towards the X-1C atm…
I have the sonic pad for the Enders. Not even close to bambu
@@russellj911 did you see any significant improvement?
I took a glimpse in the Bambulab forums and they all seem to fiddle around just like with enders now im kinda unshure 😂 if i keep my ender 3 pro or what i should do, im printing on 144mm/s with it without any problems its kinda shaking but not 144mm/s on walls ofc once its set up its just leveling here and then and i dont really see how to convince myself to pay 300 bucks just to be able to change colors if all im printing is functional stuff and not decorative. I think for me best bet is to wait for someone to compete with bambu and then check the market again … Creality K1 has all the problems of owning a Creality machine so thats not an option too 😂
I sold my ender 3 after I got my X1C. Then I got a P1P. I LOVE these printers. Still have an Ender 5 Plus for the huge bed, but I rarely print with it because it takes SOOOO long. I use my P1P for cardboard spools. Had a couple issues with my AMS on the X1C but as soon as I printed an LED riser, all my AMS problems were resolved. These machines are SOOO fast!! BambuLabs has changed the face of 3D printing. If Apple made a 3D printer, it’d be the X1C 😂
The camera is better in the X1C because it has a more powerful CPU than the P1S. You cannot upgrade the P1S camera because of that cpu limitation.
Panda touch has a unit like that for print farms. I think it’s like $80 but it uses wifi to connect to multiple devices as an add on unit.
There are external screens available for the P1S, like the BTT Panda and the Xtouch
