You could easily build one yourself for a fraction of the cost true aeroponics would be more difficult though as those fine misters tend to block up very easily that’s why I prefer the shower effect although the growth rate is far better in true aeroponics
HOW TRUE IS THE CLAIM ABOUT THE MATERIAL BEING REALLY BETTER THAN FOOD-GRADE PLASTIC? HAS ANYONE ELSE COMPARED THE COST DETAILS?
You can also build your own car. Or your own house. Does everybody have the skillset to do that? This system is designed to be installed out of the box and even a 6 year old child can install and use it. The ease of use anf out of the box experience is what makes it worthwhile.

@Kapsones33 – it is actually not at all hard to build a similar system yourself. A quick search on Youtube will show you that.
It’s FULL of how-to’s of how to build your own hydroponic systems…in whatever form you want.
I built a horizontal one, but next, will be a vertical system like this.
It is nothing comparable to building a car or house. Don’t be ridiculous!

Why do it don’t have the tomato guard included in the home version?
You only really need the cage for tomatoes which don’t do well on non-lighted towers indoors. More Home model purchases don’t really want the cage.
So REAL food (tomatoes, melons, squash, eggplant, potatoes, etc.) is a hassle or not really even doable indoors on a tower. But if greens are all ya want it’s okay. So no need for me.
Let’s be clear you can do melons you can do squash and tomatoes potatoes are impossible cause it’s a tuber plant and you could technically do eggplant too it’s doable but you just need to set up the right conditions such as having air flow and proper lighting and you might need to take a paint brush and manually pollinate every now and again but to each there own if that’s not your style

Yes, it’s truly incredible. It’s the very best home appliance to have on the market. The quality of the line of products are backed by countless studies. The info is there. Just do it. Compare you food source options in your local markets. The choice is quite obvious.
