I would never pull a broccoli just for the head and leaves. Cut the head and let it sprout a ton more.
So if you cut just bellow the actual broccoli and leave the leafs and everything else as it was, it will regrow?

@Paulo Caetano where the leaf meets the stems another shot will grow and produce another broccoli shot however it will be about 1/4 the size of the first

You can if you go to larger stores with more fresh produce. At least in my area

if you just cut the head off and leave the stalk, root, and leaves it’ll sprout more broccoli! you’ll get more out of broccoli plants this way
I agree for a homestead or urban gardening situation, but if you’ve got a setup like this, in my experience, planting a whole new round of starts is far more productive, especially in a commercial sense.

I feel like the broccoli stem is the best part, I enjoy the flower part as well but that stalk is my favorite. Raw with a little salt 🤤
